Who we are| Asian Americans for Community Involvement (AACI) is partnering with Asian Liver Center at Stanford University to co-sponsor low-cost Hepatitis B screenings and vaccinations for Santa Clara County. We are the only site offering low-cost Hep B services in the county.

Why Hep B?|
- Asian Americans have the highest rates of Hepatitis B infection among all ethnic groups in the US
- Hepatitis B is a chronic, highly infectious disease that can cause scarring of the liver, liver cancer, and death
- 1 out of 10 Asian Americans are already infected with the hep B virus; most people with chronic HBV infection have no symptoms
